Kristin Friedman, yoga teacher since 2015

She/Her

Kristin started yoga in 2008 after a neighbor invited her to class - it sparked something that has continued to this day! In 2014, after debilitating tendinitis kept her from weight/interval training, she stumbled upon the practice of Ashtanga Yoga. An immediate love of Ashtanga and drive for a greater depth of practice led Kristin to take a 225hr and a 500hr yoga training through the Holy Yoga organization in 2015. After connecting with Taylor Hunt, Kristin started teaching treatment center classes for Trini Foundation in 2017.

In 2020, she embarked in a four year mentorship under Taylor that culminated in leading workshops, teaching, assisting, and developing a Trini Foundation teacher training in 2024.

Her passion is to offer the practice of Ashtanga yoga to her local community. Adjusting the sequence to fit every body, season, and age is something she thrives in. Practicing with Kristin offers an opportunity to connect in an environment that is safe and supportive.
